What do I need to bring to pick up my car?
A valid driving licence held for at least 12 months, the credit card used for booking, and a passport or national ID. International renters should also carry an International Driving Permit if their licence is not in the Latin alphabet.

Is there a security deposit?
Yes. We place a temporary hold on your card at pickup — typically NZ$450 for standard vehicles and NZ$1,800 for our exotic range. The hold is released within 5 working days of return, provided the vehicle comes back undamaged and refuelled or recharged.

Can I change or cancel my booking?
Free cancellation and unlimited changes up to 48 hours before pickup. Inside 48 hours a one-day rate applies. You can make changes yourself from My Bookings — no phone call needed.

What is included in the daily rate?
Comprehensive insurance with a standard excess, 24/7 roadside assistance, unlimited kilometres on rentals of three days or more, and a full tank or full charge at collection. Extras such as GPS, child seats and additional drivers are priced separately.

Do you offer one-way rentals?
Yes, between any two of our branches in New Zealand. A one-way fee is calculated at checkout based on distance. Cross-island one-way rentals are available on request, subject to ferry availability.

What happens if I return the car late?
We include a 59-minute grace period. Beyond that, each additional hour is charged at one-sixth of the daily rate, capped at a single extra day. Let us know in advance and we will usually extend at the standard rate.

Are there mileage limits?
Rentals of three days or longer include unlimited kilometres. Shorter rentals include 320 km per day, with additional kilometres charged at NZ$0.45. Exotic vehicles are limited to 160 km per day.

Can someone else drive the car?
Additional drivers can be added at booking or at the counter for NZ$18 per day. They must meet the same licence and age requirements and be present with their documents at pickup.
